It has been proven that improperly trained volunteers usually break all the rules, try to work around the Chaplain, preach against the beliefs of other religious groups, deliberately try to win converts to their own Faith, and are easily manipulated by offenders. Our training helps these individuals understand and avoid pitfalls that could get the entire team removed from the institution.
All those who complete our "Basic Training Course" will be recognized by APMOA as a "Certified Lay Prison Missionary". Everyone completing both the "Basic" and "Advanced" courses, along with other requirements, will be recognized by APMOA as a "Certified Lay Prison Evangelist".
